The doctor was fine, but unfortunately our experience with the secretary was uncomfortable. Throughout our wait, she repeatedly engaged us in conversation, asked very personal questions, and made unsolicited comments about my children. This made the waiting experience unpleasant and unprofessional. I hope more attention is given to maintaining appropriate boundaries with patients and families.

I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Katbab. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything clearly, which made me feel very comfortable and confident with my eye care. The receptionist and the rest of the staff are also incredibly kind, polite, and welcoming. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for professional and caring eye care services!

Dr.Katbob prescribed an eye drop for my 2.5-year-old that turned out not safe for his age. Thankfully, our pharmacist noticed and called the office — they later confirmed it shouldn’t be given to young children. I’m so happy we didn’t use it, but this kind of mistake is unacceptable. I won’t be going back.

Dear Dr. Katbab, I would like to begin by expressing my sincere appreciation for your medical expertise and the care you provide to your patients. I hold you in the highest regard as a physician. Regrettably, I must also share that I had a very upsetting encounter at your office recently. The secretary, who scheduled my appointment with me 48 hours prior, denied ever having spoken with me and told me I did not have any appt with you. It was only when I presented proof of the call on my phone that she acknowledged the conversation, yet she still refused to consider the possibility of an error on her part. I had rearranged my work schedule to attend this appointment, and while you kindly accommodated me, the incident was never acknowledged as an administrative mistake and the secretary was defended fiercely . And it was pointed out to me that the secretary has 2 master degrees!!! Which obviously does not justify her rude and inappropriate and unpleasant behaviour. To my surprise, I later discovered similar complaints about the office staff in online reviews. It concerns me greatly that such interactions could compromise the reputation of your practice and overshadow the excellent care you provide. A simple acknowledgment of the mistake and an attempt to find a solution would have completely resolved the matter. Instead, when I became understandably upset, the secretary went so far as to threaten legal action and referenced video recordings of the office—an approach I found inappropriate and unnecessary. I share this with you not out of malice but out of genuine concern. I truly value your work as a physician and hope that the professionalism of your office staff can reflect and uphold the high standards of your medical practice.
