Can't believe I didn't know about this restaurant before. The koobideh is absolutely delicious. I've taken my family here 4or5 times already and every time it just gets better and better. It's a must-visit. Every dish was incredibly fresh, bursting with bold, perfectly balanced flavors, and cooked to absolute perfection. The service/staff was top-notch, and the atmosphere made the meal taste even better. Keep up the great work.
I had to write this review immediately. I just finished one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I'm from Scarborough so I've eaten a lot of soltani plates in my years and this is up there with some of the best. I was skeptical when they mentioned 10 minutes for my order to be ready. So I know the steak wasn't cooked from raw which is okay I also know when they don't ask how you want the steak cooked that it's going to be this type of steak and it's not bad don't get me wrong. For the price the Quick Service and the freshness and quality of everything I would give this place more than five out of five. The salad crisp and fresh the rice usually a let down was incredibly fluffy cooked just perfect and consistent no greens harder than the other which was incredibly appreciating. The tomato a classic perfectly charred now the meats the steak juicy well seasoned. As I often find the ground beef is the star and this did not let down incredibly juicy perfectly cooked taste of 10 out of 10 I will be back that's for sure. I just hope consistency is key and on my future visit it's the same that's normally where I get let down. Great job recommended to all.
Wow, we finally found a hidden gem in Durham! I had been searching for a great Persian restaurant to enjoy some authentic kabab and came across this place. From the moment we walked in, the first impression was wonderful — the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can really feel that it’s a family-run business that cares about its customers. The food quality is absolutely top-notch. I’ve been to many well-known and expensive Persian restaurants in North York, but honestly the food here is even better. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and perfectly cooked. If you’re looking for amazing Persian food and warm, genuine hospitality, I highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be coming back!
This restaurant is not Persian at all, and it feels like a complete scam. Unfortunately, I ordered because of the reviews, but this was my first and definitely my last time. I will absolutely be taking action regarding the misuse of Iranian food names to deceive customers. After trying the food, I realized that most of the positive reviews seem to be from people who have probably never tried real Iranian cuisine and don’t know what it’s supposed to taste like. If you are Iranian or want to try Persian food for the first time, I definitely do not recommend ordering from this place. 1. Instead of using saffron, which is the key flavor in Persian rice, they used artificial coloring. This is dishonest and extremely unhealthy. 2. The menu lists Iranian kebab names, but the flavors have nothing to do with the authentic dishes. It’s misleading and disrespectful to customers. 3. When a restaurant advertises “Persian” cuisine, you expect actual Persian dishes. This is like going to an Italian restaurant and being served noodles instead of pasta. No reputable Persian restaurant would ever serve a “kabab barg” the way this place does — it’s completely different from the real thing. 4. The prices are as high as top-tier Persian restaurants, but the quality is zero. This restaurant should either change its name or completely change the menu. I honestly wasted my money.
A hidden gem of Oshawa! This place is one of my all time favorites to eat and enjoy. The food is world class as the kabobs have incredible seasoning and extremely delicious. Everytime I'm about to drive off the highway exit I swing by this restaurant to enjoy. The staff here are very nice and accommodating. I love supporting family run businesses, especially when they make delicious food like this! If you come here I recommend getting the 3 skewers of beef kabob, ground beef and chicken with rice and a salad. The salad is so refreshing!
