We had a wonderful experience at City Kebab in Midtown. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and very welcoming. Our waitress was incredibly kind, friendly, and made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. We also had a chance to talk with Amir, who was preparing the chicken kebab. He was very welcoming and took the time to chat with us. What impressed us the most was the way he treats his customers. He even offered us a taste of the Ash before we decided to buy some to take home, which was a really thoughtful gesture. The Ash was delicious, and we're glad we brought some home. The combination of great service, a welcoming atmosphere, and genuinely caring people made this a memorable visit. We'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend City Kebab to anyone looking for great food and warm hospitality.
City Kebab Persian Restaurant is a wonderful family-run spot with truly delicious Persian food. The kebabs are excellent, especially the lamb barg, which is tender and flavorful. Their koobideh is easily one of the best in Toronto, and the barley soup was amazing. It’s not a fine dining place, but that’s part of its charm. The people are warm, welcoming, and generous, they even treated us to some tahdig, which was such a lovely gesture. Great food, great hospitality, and lots of heart.
My wife and I came to City Kebab for a date night and ordered two Vaziri kebabs. Everything was excellent. The atmosphere and vibe were warm and inviting, the service was great, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The candle on the table made the evening feel especially romantic. The kebabs were juicy and perfectly cooked, and the chicken had an amazing marinade. Every bite brought a new layer of flavor, like musical notes unfolding one after another on the tongue. We only wish we had discovered this place sooner. From now on, this will definitely be our weekend go-to spot. Highly recommended.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Had a great experience here. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The food was excellent and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.
Excellent food. The kebabs (chicken breast & koobideh) were perfectly seasoned, generous and juicy. The Ghormeh Sabzi was off the charts, perfect balance of lemon herbs and salt. I think we were served by the owner just by the way he treated us like guest in his home. I highly recommend
