We had brunch there and the food was excellent! Don’t miss the falafel—it was fresh, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly crunchy on the outside. We also tried the fatteh and manakeesh, and the Shamieh cheese pie (mankoosheh) was absolutely delicious. The service was fast and friendly, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place!
I’ve been looking for a Syrian restaurant that serves authentic Syrian food, and I think I finally found it. Damaski Palace is by far the best Syrian restaurant I’ve visited in Canada. It’s a small and cozy place with amazing food and authentic Syrian flavors. The restaurant is family owned, and you can really feel their passion for Syrian culture and cuisine. The service was great, and everyone was welcoming and friendly. Eating here brought back so many memories from my home country, which made the experience even more special. I would highly recommend this place if you’re craving Syrian food or if you want to discover Syrian cuisine for the first time. I will definitely be coming back.
Damaski Palace is hands down one of the best places for authentic Syrian food in Mississauga. Every dish is packed with incredible flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The food tastes just like a homemade meal, with generous portions and beautiful presentation. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel like family. From the delicious manakeesh and falafel to the amazing desserts, everything we tried was outstanding. If you’re looking for authentic Syrian cuisine, excellent service, and a memorable dining experience, Damaski Palace is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu!
Great experience at Damaski Palace. Fantastic breakfast with friends, felt like you were teleported to Syria for an authentic breakfast including staple dishes like Fatteh and Fool. Excellent service and the owner (Abu Abed) came himself to say hi and make sure we liked the food. Everything was made to perfection. We enjoyed the crispy falafel almost shaped into hearts. The Fatteh bil Zeit (Oil Fatteh) was an amazing surprise as it’s very rare dish to find at most restaurants. Definitely will be back. Nice atmosphere and lovely decor. Highly recommended for yummy Syrian food in Mississauga.
I had an amazing experience at Damaski Palace Restaurant — truly one of the best spots for authentic Middle Eastern cuisine in the area. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, with beautiful décor that gives you a real sense of traditional Damascus culture. The food is absolutely outstanding — every dish is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The mixed grill was perfectly cooked, the shawarma was juicy and well-seasoned, and the appetizers like hummus and fattoush were top quality. What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect without being overwhelming. Portions are generous, and the value for what you get is excellent. If you’re looking for authentic Syrian food with great service and a cozy vibe, this place is a must-visit. Definitely coming back again!
