I flew from Bandar Abbas from London stopping in Tehran to join a ship in 1974. All I remember the air was smelly and sweaty (don't they wash?). People were friendly though and women were respected then. I've just read today that rain arrived after the worst drought in fifty years ago. Some good memories of Iran though.
It's nice! big area with simple design in waiting hall and clean bathrooms, good shopping areas, prayer rooms, seats. In the arrival hall the conveyor belt for luggages is not proper. In the departure process everything were quick and easy. I think I visited this airport 3 times.
It's a small airport in Bandar Abbas. But it's an International Airport. I came to home after my signing off from this airport. Only 2 flights are operation international from this airport. Fly Dubai is operating flights between Bandar Abbas and Dubai airport on daily basis in evening.
Not a big airpot but good enough to handle travellers Clean area, few shop insode for suveniors, also there is coffeeshop and restaurant, not very high in quality but they dont kill you eather! There is rest room and baby care room also Staff are wellcoming,
This international airport has a suitable building and a transit hall on two floors, which is responsible for the flight traffic at this airport. Also, the location of the airport is very convenient and is not outside the city of Bandar Abbas.
