I’m giving Gazba Restaurant two stars for now to help them improve their service. The food was good and the customer service was also good. There was only one person working, and he was clearly doing his best and working very hard to prepare everything for everyone. Because he was alone, the food took much longer than expected. We didn’t blame him at all this review is meant to encourage the restaurant to improve staffing and service, as the quality and effort are there.
I ordered food today for myself and a coworker from Cazba at Lougheed Mall. Compared to other Persian restaurants, I can’t say the quality was the best — the food was okay and the portion size was reasonable. However, the restaurant unfortunately misses some important details that matter in Persian cuisine. For example, they didn’t include any sumac with the meal, which is a basic and essential item for kebabs. Small details like this really bring down the overall experience. I even tried calling the restaurant to share this feedback directly, but their phone number wasn’t working. Overall, it was a disappointing purchase, especially because I had recommended this place to my coworker — and unfortunately, it didn’t meet the expectations I had.
Visiting Cazba Persian Grill at Coquitlam Centre is a delightful step into the rich world of Persian cuisine, where bold flavours meet gracious hospitality. From the moment you settle in, the aromas of saffron-rice and grilled skewers set the stage for something memorable. Among the standout dishes were the joujeh kebab a beautifully seasoned chicken breast skewer, tender and fragrant, served with pristine basmati rice and a perfectly grilled tomato. And then the vaziri a thoughtful combination of one skewer of chicken plus one of ground beef (koobideh) with rice and tomato offering a generous, satisfying taste of two classic kebabs in one dish. The ambience inside is comfortable yet refined; it strikes a nice balance between casual dining and elevated flavour. Service is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant experience. If you’re seeking a place where you can savour authentic Persian kebabs with finesse, Cazba is a strong choice. The quality of the food especially the joujeh and vaziri leaves a lasting impression.
I honestly can’t believe how terrible this meal was. I ordered koobideh from Cazba and it was literally raw inside. smelled awful and looked like it hadn’t even touched the grill properly. I expected real Persian food, not something that looks and tastes like leftovers from a fridge. Absolute disappointment. I’ve been to many Persian restaurants, but this one? Never again.
We ordered six koobideh from this restaurant last night through Uber Eats for our guests. Unfortunately, all six servings were either burnt on one side and still undercooked, or simply undercooked throughout — even most of the tomatoes were not cooked properly. We had to cut away the burnt portions and finish cooking the raw meat in a skillet ourselves. The order felt rushed and was disappointing, especially as it was meant for guests. We will not be ordering from this location again

Congratulation!
