My family and I had dinner and ordered their Naana's special rice was stale chicken kebab was dry and it was re heated rather BBB fresh barg kebab was very dry kobideh kebab did not taste good at all. It was very disappointing since this was not our first time there. I did raise my concern even asked if their chef had chagedand I was assured no . We ordered tea and baklava and unfortunately baklava had freezer taste and very dry. My suggestion would be that if you as owner representing persian culture and social persian
We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Nannaa’s! The food was incredibly fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the care and quality in every dish, each bite was delicious from start to finish. Our server, Zarrin, made the experience even more memorable. Her warm personality, attentive service, and genuine hospitality were exceptional. She made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our meal. Our only concern was the lack of ice available for drinks. For a smaller restaurant, even having a few bags of ice on hand would make a big difference. If you’re looking for fresh, authentic dishes paired with outstanding service, Nanaa’s is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
This is our local Persian restaurant and they do a very good koobideh. Their dough and appetizers are also very tasty and be sure to try the kashk bademjun and zeytun parvarde. I’m not sure of the chef is Iranian or not but the food lacks a certain authenticity to it which can be disappointing at times such as our last visit. I ordered the kabob torsh which should be marinated in a pomegranate walnut sauce overnight however as the food was served it was obvious the kabob was cooked and the sauce added afterward. The beet and pistachio salad however was tremendous. We will be sticking to koubideh here and that’s not a bad thing
One of the only few Persian places In Hamilton. It's a little bit on the mid price range. Main courses are over $20 dollars. Which is high in this economy. The portions are pretty decent though. It was interesting and it was good/satisfactory. Nothing really blew my mind. But It was good food. I will say this. I feel with Persian food, places like this might not know how to market Persian food well. Because certain Persian dishes would go with a whole bunch of small dishes. For example, fasenjoon, it's too rich on its own, when you just give a giant plate of rice + fasenjoon It feels like you would need to get it with a whole bunch of other dishes maybe?. This is just my opinion when it comes to Persian food in Canada. The Lamb shank was okay, I do wish they put barberries in the rice. Other than that again, it's just a piece of lamb with rice. You need to order or put things with it like veggies or something else authentic on the side. This is my only criticism with Persian food in places like this. It's good to come here and share with a bunch of people different things since some of the authentic solo dishes kinda Don't make sense to eat on your own. There's definitely potential in this place, they could even make the food tastier if they wanted to.
Good flavours but definitely not enough of them. Every single dish we ordered seemed to be very mild and mellow when it came to spices. There was barely any taste. The dill and broad bean infused basmati rice tasted like plain white rice even though it clearly wasn't. The lamb shank was good. Fell right off the bone and was a hearty chunk of meat, but it lacked much kick to the flavours. What I really liked was the side of lamb broth that came on the plate, it went great with the plain tasting rice. Everything else was pretty mediocre.

Congratulation!
