This is just my personal experience and how I genuinely felt while becoming familiar with this office. I’m sharing it because I would want people to know what I noticed before choosing a dental clinic. To be completely honest, the environment here never felt calm, consistent, or professional to me. A lot of the interactions I witnessed between the dentist and staff felt tense, loud, or really uncomfortable. There were moments where the behaviour came off as intimidating, and it created an atmosphere where people always seemed stressed. I also personally witnessed a disagreement where physical contact happened, and it really shocked me especially because the staff member involved was pregnant. I also saw interactions with a Muslim staff member that felt insensitive to me, and it added to the overall uncomfortable vibe. She left shortly after, which made me even more uneasy. Clinically, there were several things I saw that didn’t sit right with me. Sometimes rooms didn’t look fully reset between patients, certain items looked worn or not updated, and there were a few moments where instruments or equipment didn’t seem handled the way I expected in a dental office. Those details made me question the consistency of the protocols. I also found myself confused about some treatment recommendations I observed. From my perspective, some things didn’t seem like they needed the procedures suggested, while other things that looked unlikely to turn out well were still attempted. A few times I noticed the work being adjusted or redone. Because of that, I honestly think patients should feel comfortable asking questions or even getting a second opinion if anything feels unclear. Another thing that made me uncomfortable was seeing the dentist’s husband involved in clinical areas in ways that weren’t clearly explained to me. It left me unsure about boundaries and roles within the office. Even on the administrative side, I personally experienced payroll deductions for breaks I didn’t take, and it added to my overall concerns with the way things were being run. I also noticed cameras inside clinical rooms, and I wasn’t sure what patients were told about that. It made me wonder about the privacy side of things. Later on, I saw publicly available information on the RCDSO register showing a 24-month review process connected to this office, which confirmed some of the concerns I already had. Everything here is just my personal experience and opinion, but based on what I saw and how I felt, I personally wouldn’t choose this office for care. I’d recommend patients do their research, ask questions, and make sure they feel completely comfortable before proceeding with treatment.
Today I had a root canal performed by Dr. Aidin, and I was honestly surprised by how comfortable the entire experience was. I felt no pain and no discomfort throughout the procedure. Dr. Aidin was professional, gentle, and very reassuring, which made a big difference for me. I also want to thank Dr. Armina and the entire team for their excellent teamwork and warm, supportive environment. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I truly appreciate the care I received at this clinic.
I’ve been a patient at Spring Hill Dental Clinic with Dr. Armina Najafi for many years, and every visit has been a wonderful experience. I recently went in again and, as always, Dr. Najafi and her team were caring, gentle and professional. They make each appointment comfortable and stress-free. I truly appreciate the consistent quality of care and highly recommend them!
I’ve been going to this dental office for over 6 years, and I have never been let down. Dr. Armina Najafi is an amazing dentist, and I’ve always felt well cared for. When I slack on flossing, they kindly remind me, which actually motivates me to do better before my next visit. Today I had Zohreh as my dental hygienist—she was very kind, gentle, and I enjoyed chatting with her after my cleaning. I always appreciate that they let me take breaks whenever I feel sensitivity, which makes the experience much more comfortable. Even though I moved from Oak Ridges to Newmarket years ago, I still make the drive to this clinic because it’s worth it. My brother and mom also come here, and we all trust the team completely. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for professional, caring, and trustworthy dental care. Thank you for everything, Dr. Armina Najafi! ❤️
I recently visited Dr. Armina Najafi’s office for a simple cleaning, and unfortunately, my experience turned out to be quite disappointing. After the cleaning, I noticed a tiny spot behind my tooth where my gum would slightly recede, making it visible. It wasn’t a major issue, but it was noticeable enough to bother me. I went back to Dr. Najafi to ask if it could be fixed. She suggested filling it in, but never informed me that the filling would actually be placed on the tooth itself. Had I known, I would have never agreed to it, since my tooth was perfectly fine before. Without confirming with me or making sure I was okay with the procedure, she went ahead and applied the material and set it with UV light. The result was that the shape of my tooth changed, and it left me with a gum issue that now requires surgical correction. I had to see another dentist to fix the damage, and while they improved it somewhat, I still need to undergo a gum procedure to correct the problem. I do not recommend Dr. Armina Najafi for any cosmetic dental work or procedures that involve covering or altering the tooth, due to this lack of communication and professionalism.
