I always shop at Balout Supermarket and I’m very happy with their service. All the staff are respectful, friendly, and professional. I can always find all the Iranian groceries I need here. It’s truly a reliable and welcoming place to shop. Highly recommended!
I’m writing this review to warn others about the disrespectful behavior my mother experienced at this supermarket. She went in to buy some meat, and while she was waiting for her order, she was simply looking at the different meat options to figure out what else she might need. Shockingly, the butcher rudely yelled at her and said, “What the hell are you looking at? Is that desserts or cookies?” — as if she had no right to even look. This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable and extremely disrespectful, especially to a customer who was calmly minding her own business. If you value being treated with basic respect, I strongly recommend not shopping here. No one deserves to be humiliated or talked down to like that. I wish I could give no stars
We had a terrible experience at this supermarket. The butcher was extremely rude and lashed out at my mother—who is one of the most polite and respectful people—just for looking at the meats. He said something along the lines of “What are you looking at?” in a very aggressive tone. It was completely uncalled for and made us feel very uncomfortable. I won’t be returning to this supermarket again.
