Excellent Persian Koobideh – authentic and perfectly done I had the special koobideh at Lahijan Restaurant and it was outstanding. The koobideh was juicy, well-seasoned, and grilled perfectly with that classic smoky flavor you expect from real Persian cuisine. The rice was fluffy with a beautiful golden tahdig, and the sides including grilled tomato and pickled vegetables were fresh and balanced the dish nicely. Everything tasted authentic and thoughtfully prepared. Portions were generous and presentation was great. If you’re looking for proper Persian food, especially a solid koobideh, Lahijan Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended.
We went there last night and everything was excellent. The appetizers were amazing and reminded me of authentic Iranian restaurants — the aroma and flavors were outstanding. The kebabs were delicious, and the freshly brewed tea was perfect. Highly recommended!
Absolutely delicious Koobideh! The meat was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled just right. Absolutely amazing experience at Lahijan Restaurant! I tried Kalle Pache, and it was outstanding—rich, authentic, and perfectly cooked. You can really taste the care and tradition in every bite. The flavors were deep, comforting, and exactly how this dish should be done. The atmosphere feels warm and cultural, and the food truly represents classic Persian cuisine done right. Amazing authentic Persian food! I ordered koobideh kebab and chicken leg kebab, and the flavors were truly different from other restaurants. It honestly felt like eating homemade food in northern Iran. The kebab was delicious, the rice was unique and very tasty, and the grilled tomato was outstanding — probably the best I’ve ever had with kebab. The mirza ghasemi was excellent, and the chicken kebab was full of flavor. What I loved most was how light and healthy everything felt — no heaviness at all after the meal. Fresh ingredients, authentic taste, and a truly comforting homemade experience. Highly recommended!
