The food at this venue was excellent, and many of our guests genuinely enjoyed their meals. The table setup was nicely done, the Persian statues added an elegant cultural touch, and there was sufficient parking, which was appreciated. However, our overall experience with the venue and its management was disappointing, particularly given that this was our wedding with over 90 guests. The venue does not include décor, which we understood and paid for separately. That said, we were informed that we could not use the venue’s speakers and were required to pay a non-refundable deposit despite the size of our event. On the night of the wedding, the lighting did not function properly, which negatively affected the atmosphere. We paid for an open bar, but early in the evening both Black Label and ice ran out. When this was raised, the explanation given was that guests were “getting drunk,” even though only lower-tier alcohol continued to be served. This did not align with the premium open bar that was agreed upon. The most uncomfortable and unprofessional aspect was how guest counting was handled. Staff approached guests directly at their tables asking who they were and implying that some were “extra” or replacements for guests who did not attend. Members of our wedding party were also pulled aside and asked to recount guests in front of our attendees, which was extremely embarrassing and inappropriate. Following the event, we received over 60 phone calls the next day demanding payment for two additional guests, despite the fact that eight confirmed guests did not attend. We were previously told that replacements were not allowed, yet we were still charged. Ultimately, we returned the next day and paid an additional $300. Additionally, our wedding cake was removed from the tables before guests had a chance to eat it. Although we were told the event could continue without a strict end time, the manager disconnected the microphone and turned on the lights at 12:30 a.m., effectively ending the celebration. While the food and certain visual elements were strong, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and handling of guests significantly impacted what should have been a smooth and joyful event. Given the nature and importance of a wedding, we expected far better organization and respect for both the couple and our guests.
This is the third time I have booked this large hall for a large event. Just like every other time, we and the guest received the best possible service and attentive catering service throughout the event. The waiters were very friendly, attentive and always on the go. The management was really professional, the service was fast and uninterrupted. Even the freshness and service of the food was the best. My guests were really amazed by the service and the professional team. The Persian Palace team was even thoughtful and professional in setting up the stage and furniture. I would definitely recommend Persian Palace for any of your events and I will come back for myself. Thank you to the management Mr. Behrang and the other staff who work so hard at Persian Palace. We recently gathered here to mourn a family member, and everything was handled with care and professionalism. The management and staff were attentive, compassionate, and ensured that the event went exactly as we had hoped. We are truly grateful for their support during such a difficult time.
While the place looks beautiful, with so much heritage and reference to the persian culture. The food and service are terrible, we got invited twice to this place, the place was empty both times; however, the service was extremely slow, and showed complete lack of basic customer service skills! The food itself is below average, especially being in the middle of a very busy area filled with persian dining options, this place scores very low on that point!
This banquet is very professional and experienced in delivering luxurious and high end events. The staff was professional and well trained. Food was delicious and well served. Reasonable price. They have 2 large salons. I didn't see any weakness in their work. I would definitely take my next event there.
