The portions were generous and beautifully presented, showing the restaurant’s attention to quality and detail. What impressed me even more was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure guests have a great experience. Their hospitality made the entire evening even more enjoyable. Our server was very friendly and attentive, he took great care of us. I was surprised that the restaurant was so quiet considering that it was dinner time (8:00PM). The food was good and came out fast. I have a recommendation to make, please play Persian music instead of a depressing old school love songs.

One of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in Vancouver among Persian restaurants. It’s the small but important details that truly stood out like serving hot water in a proper mug, excellent food quality, and a well-managed dining space with comfortable distance between tables. Everything felt thoughtful and well organized. Special shout-out to Mahdi, our server, for his outstanding customer support. His professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly attitude made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality food and genuine hospitality.

I’ve lived on the North Shore for years and have tried almost every Persian spot around, but the Asur Kitchen really managed to surprise me. I just loved the Asur Special Joojeh Kebab Torch. It was a skewer of incredibly tender chicken thigh with a zesty pomegranate sauce and crushed nuts for texture. The pickled cabbage on the side added a perfect pop of acidity. Every bite was incredible. We practically licked the plate clean. I’d go back in a heartbeat just to have this dish again. Mahi the perfectly-fried trout fish was super crunchy on the outside and buttery soft inside. We decided to swap the saffron rice for the barberry rice, and I’m so glad we did; those little sweet-and-sour berries were the perfect match for the rich fish. The eggplant dip Mirza Ghaseni was a standout—it had a lovely, subtle smokiness that wasn't at all overpowered by a burnt taste. It was served with the sesame bread that was so light and pillowy. If you’re looking for a new spot in Ambleside, Asur Kitchen is fantastic. The flavors they're bringing to the table are just so fresh and exciting.
